Take a moment

To think about where you live in this country and your place within society.  President Fuckface has rescinded DACA which is another blow to this country's immigrant populations and security.  We will resist.  We will continue to call our senators and reps, write in post cards, etc to be sure our voices are heard.

As an immigrant adoptee I empathize with children of DACA.  I was allowed to stay in this country due to the Child Citienzship Act of 2000, but still had to apply for citizenship when I was 21 despite having lived in this country my entire life.  I can assure you this was one of the most difficult things I've ever done (independently) financially and mentally.  Take a moment to understand there are KIDS who were brought here and trying to thrive under circumstances they didn't create.  There are no hand outs for these kids. EVER.  They will work harder for less all in the hopes of a better life, which the Trump administration disregards.

It seems this guy won't be impeached anytime soon so we will continue to resist ✊🏼 I'm grateful to be living in a liberal state where our senator Kamala Harris continues to fight for our ideals and rights for ALL citizens of this California.   If you live in a swing or red state please take the time to call your reps + senators.  Crazy to think this could have been me without the progression of new laws and regulations for immigrant children.  #defendDACA
